Was playable enough, if not just for the funny animations and sound. It was nice to see Pond in another game, he definitely had mascot potential for the Amiga. Unfortunately, the graphics in this particular game aren't up to the standards of the others in the series, but they're not too bad either. As always in Pond games, the music is very catchy. This game introduces some new characters - I personally love the seal from Kipper Watching - and some events in the game really are quite challenging.
I also recommend that you play this with other people - it can be very funny and entertaining, as well as frustrating. I played this with my family and friends when I was younger and had a blast. Back in the day, this was one of my two favourite olympic games - along with Bobo! And yes, joystick waggling. Even though it's just a computer game, your arm can get some serious workout from playing this!
The best workout you could get from a computer until the Wii was introduced well As it is usual in such games, some events you will like more some events you will like less. Good fun all the same, but it aint as good as the first or second games to bear James Pond's name. Little Monkey Lost I was a James Pond fan and was not disappointed with this game, but afterwards I would say that events could have been designed better. They just don't happen to be attractive enough compared to for example California Games.
A nice game with nice graphics anyway. Now, while the humor is still there, the game is no longer a kid's game as the difficulty is set way above what a kid would have patience for. On the other hand, it just isn't a fun game for the older player.
I like the concept behind Aquatic Games. The graphics are very cute and the game will appeal to younger players. The game play, however is far too difficult for younger players and makes the game unbalanced. There are a few really cool events, but the majority are frustrating and won't be very fun for most players. This is a kid's game with adult difficulty. I can't see this game appealing to the people who would play it consistently. Kids will have a hard time completing most of the levels would you bounce a ball on YOUR nose for over four minutes?
Don't get this for young kids! Take part in the competitions which are far from being sportive but very cheerful.
